Today is the first day of 2015-2016, a new academic year and a new year of my life (I've lived around the American academic calendar for twenty years).
This blog will try to make guesses for the future of US higher education, looking at current trends, innovations, challenges, opportunities, etc.  I will write about new technologies and pedagogical innovations; about the economic and demographic environment; about legal and cultural developments.
In great part, this blog will link to other blogs on these topics and/or to resources put out by universities, consultancies, government agencies, etc.  I will also write about books about higher education.
